At-Risk Youth Find Work Hope in Work-Based Education

This paper considers the experiences of seven at-risk youth who became more engaged in learning and the school context while participating in work-based education. Following the descriptions of their experiences and changes in perspectives concerning learning are implications for increasing the effectiveness of work-based education opportunities in re-engaging youth.
