What Can a Multi-faceted Program do for Community College Students? Early Results from an Evaluation of Accelerated Studies in Associate Programs (ASAP) for Development Education Students

This report provides early findings from an evaluation of the “Accelerated Study in Associate Programs,” a program intended to provide an array of supports to promote full-time attendance and graduation for low-income students who need one or two developmental courses. This 3-year long model requires students to enroll full-time, take first-year courses as a cohort, and take advantage of student services such as advising and tutoring. They also provide financial supports to address the cost of tuition, fees, transportation, and textbooks.
